GREATER PENSCOLA SEMINOLE CLUB — VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION!
The Greater Pensacola Seminole Club (GPSC) is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to supporting Florida State University, its students, alumni, and the greater Pensacola community. Our Club operates through the commitment and participation of volunteers who give their time, talents, and resources to organize events, support charitable initiatives, promote FSU spirit, and strengthen connections among Seminoles throughout the area.
From organizing game-day watch parties and fundraising events to participating in community service projects, our volunteers are the foundation of everything we do. There is no paid staff running the Club—our success depends on Seminole fans stepping forward to volunteer, lead, organize, and participate.
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES & OPPORTUNITIES
Our volunteers support a wide range of activities throughout the year, including:
- Community Service Days — Organizing and participating in local service projects supporting area nonprofits, schools, charities, and community organizations.
- FSU CARE Scholarship Support — Fundraising and supporting scholarship opportunities for deserving Florida State students.
- FSU Football Watch Parties — Coordinating game-day gatherings, venue logistics, registration, raffles, contests, and fan activities.
- Annual Golf Tournament — Planning, organizing, promoting, and staffing our annual fundraising golf tournament.
- Annual FSU Kickoff Event — Helping coordinate our annual kickoff celebration, including speakers, sponsors, food, entertainment, and Seminole activities.
- Fundraising Events — Organizing raffles, auctions, sponsorship opportunities, and other activities that support Club initiatives and scholarships.
- Alumni & Fan Events — Planning social gatherings and opportunities for FSU alumni, students, parents, and fans to connect.
- Community Outreach — Representing the Greater Pensacola Seminole Club at local events and supporting organizations throughout the community.
- Event Setup & Breakdown — Providing the behind-the-scenes support necessary to make Club events successful.
- Hospitality & Registration — Greeting members and guests, managing registration, coordinating check-in, and assisting with event logistics.
- Marketing & Communications — Promoting Club activities through social media, email communications, newsletters, and other outreach.
- Sponsorship & Business Relations — Recruiting and working with local businesses and sponsors that support GPSC activities and initiatives.
- Membership Outreach — Welcoming new members, encouraging participation, and helping build a stronger Seminole network in the Greater Pensacola area.
- Leadership & Event Planning — Serving on committees, taking responsibility for individual events, and helping establish the Club’s annual calendar and priorities.
The Greater Pensacola Seminole Club is only as strong as the Seminoles who volunteer their time and talents. Whether someone can commit to leading an event, helping for a few hours, or simply lending a hand when needed, every volunteer makes a difference.
